المملكة: Jalajel is looking to expand aspects of cooperation with health sector officials in France

As part of his official visit to France, Minister of Health Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al -Jaljel held a series of high -level bilateral meetings with a number of French ministers, led by the Minister of Labor, Health, Solidarity and Family Affairs Catherine Fotarin, and the Minister of Health and Access to Welfare in the French Republic, Yan Noder.
Minister Jalajel discussed with the French ministers to expand the aspects of bilateral cooperation and promote partnerships in the health field between the Kingdom and France, the fields of cooperation in scientific research and innovation in health care, developing health competencies and enhancing bonding between health and social development at the community level.
He reviewed investment opportunities and possible alliances within the health sector transformation program, one of the strategic programs for the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.

Expanding the partnership between the two countries

In confirmation of the depth of health relations and the expansion of the partnership between the two countries, Al-Jaljel witnessed the signing of 3 memoranda of understanding in the presence of the French ministers, as the Saudi Red Crescent and Paris Hospitals for General Assistance (AP-HP) signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of developing ambulance services in the Kingdom by applying best practices in the French emergency health services model, and exchanging experiences and joint cooperation in the specialized research fields.

The Food and Drug Authority and the National Agency for Food and Environmental Safety and Occupational Safety for Cooperation and Information in the field of veterinary censorship, experts and advisors exchanged knowledge and experience, enhancing cooperation in international forums, and recording veterinary preparations in both countries.

Cooperation in the field of tumors

The Ministry of Health, represented by the Virtual Health Hospital, signed a strategic executive program with the Gustav Rossi International Foundation – one of the most prominent international centers specialized in treating tumors – with the aim of cooperation in the field of research, innovation and digital health in the field of tumors.
Al -Jalajel also visited “Station F” -the largest business incubator for startups in the world -and met a number of entrepreneurs and innovators in the fields of health technologies.
He reviewed with them cooperation opportunities to support the innovation and entrepreneurial environment in the Saudi health sector, and to enhance digital initiatives in health care.
