Real Madrid’s withdrawal from “El Clásico” incurred by 4 strict penalties

Spanish media confirmed that the controversy continues about the fate of the Barcelona and Real Madrid match in the King’s Cup final on Saturday.

The Spanish newspaper “Marca” reported that the Real Madrid administration refuses to participate in the King’s Cup final, in protest against the statements of the referees of the confrontation.

She explained that the “Royal” administration had asked the Spanish Federation to change the arbitration team, and to investigate them after their statements at the press conference of the match on Friday.

The referee of the match, Ricardo de Burgos, cried at the press conference due to the accusations made by the Real Madrid channel, and the assistant video referee Pablo Gonzalez Fueritis confirmed that the Spanish arbitration is between the best in the world.

And the newspaper “Relevo” revealed strict penalties that Real Madrid will incur if he holds his threat to withdraw from the match as follows:

1. Excavator from the championship

The club is immediately excluded from the current version of the King’s Cup, the final will be postponed and Real Sociedad will participate instead of Real Madrid, to be determined at a later time.

2. Denying the participation in the upcoming copies

The club can be punished by denial of participating in the King’s Cup for a period ranging from 1 to 3 seasons, especially if the withdrawal is not justified.

3. A fine

Imposing a fine usually ranging from 3,006 euros to 9,015 euros, and it may increase in cases of major clubs due to “the negative impact on the championship image.”

4. Additional disciplinary penalties

The possibility of imposing penalties on club officials (president, sports manager, coach) if their responsibility is proven for the withdrawal decision.
