“Rahimi” causes the arbitration team to arbitrate the Al Ain and Al Jazeera match

The Football Association suspended the arbitration team that managed the Al Ain and Al-Jazeera match, on Sunday, in the 23rd round of the ADNOC Professional League at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium and ended in a 1-1 draw, against the backdrop of a series of influential arbitration errors in the confrontation.
The Federation said in its statement today, Monday, that “the decision came based on the internal regulations of the administration of the rulers.”
The match was moderated by the arbitration team consisting of Nasser Al -Ali (rule of a square), with the assistance of Amer Abdullah (first assistant), Hamid Nasser (second assistant), and Ali Al -Zarouni (fourth referee), alongside Angel Bello (video ruling), and Khamis Fayrouz (video assistant).
The match had witnessed a controversial decision in the 60th minute, when the striker of the hosts, Moroccan international Sufyan Rahimi, scored the equalizer 1-1 after a cross from his teammate Eric Georgins.
Although the “Al -Far” television technology lines clearly showed the existence of an infiltration on Rahimi, who was ahead of his colleague Eric the moment the latter sent the cross ball, the referee Nasser Al -Ali counted the goal after a lengthy review that took about five minutes, which sparked a wide wave of objections.
The match witnessed another dialectical case in the 67th minute, when Rahimi scored another goal with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area. After a 4 -minute review via video technology, the goal was canceled on the pretext that Lapa Kudju, who is in an infiltration position, was blocked by Al -Jazeera goalkeeper Ali Khasif.
After the meeting, the coaches of the two teams expressed their dissatisfaction with the arbitration errors that changed the course of the match. “I congratulate the players on the strong reaction after the delay with a goal, as we managed to return and score two goals – in my view – they were true, and we deserved the three points. This is not the first time that we face such challenges.”
On the other hand, Al -Jazeera coach Al -Hussein Amouta criticized the decision to calculate the equalizer, stressing that the goal came from a clear infiltration despite the use of video technology. He said, “I did not understand how it was calculated despite the use of video technology.”
