Media: Mancini is coach of the Italian national team

Italian media said, today, Tuesday, that Italian coach Roberto Mancini will return to coach his country’s national team for a second term.
She added that Italian Football Federation President Giovanni Malago announced the appointment during a board of directors meeting, saying, “Mancini is the coach.”
Mancini will replace Gennaro Gattuso, who resigned from his position in April following Italy’s loss to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the World Cup qualifying round, making the four-time world champion miss the finals for the third time in a row.
Mancini (61 years old) led Italy to win the European Championship title in 2021.
