The authority explained that the medical research agenda in Dubai is a comprehensive plan that defines the annual research priorities, to enhance innovation in health care, in a manner that achieves prevention, and guarantees the population to reach integrated, innovative and high -quality medical services, in line with national and international priorities.

According to the medical research agenda seen by “Emirates Today”, the proposed research field for “mental health” includes causes, effects and treatment of mental health problems, exploring innovative strategies to enhance awareness of mental health, prevention and care, digital mental health tools, and mental health to adolescents, as well as the field of “environmental health concerns and emergency conditions” with the climate crisis, change and environmental sustainability Health problems, environmental sustainability and green hospitals, enhance preparation and response to disasters. The field of “infectious diseases and their prevention focuses on emerging infectious diseases, enhancing monitoring systems and genome sequence for pathogens, developing rapid diagnostic tools and predictive models, creating preventive strategies to reduce the outbreaks of diseases, while the field of” noncommunicable diseases “includes obesity, prevention and lifestyle -related interventions, societal programs for obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular health, non -infectious diseases and expansion diseases Urban.

The field of “genome and genetics” deals with population genome: large -scale studies to determine the ability to develop diseases, incorporate genetic medicine for diagnosis and careful treatment, genetic cancer research, genes in clinical care. The agenda achieves three purposes, including promoting scientific research, by encouraging and developing scientific research in various disciplines, and promoting health care by improving the well -being of Dubai residents, through prevention, providing integrated, innovative, high -quality and high -quality health care services, and enriching policies by providing valuable visions that constitute future policies after the end of the current agenda period.
