The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration heads the fourth ministerial meeting of the permanent Human Rights Committee

In the context of the directives of the President of the Republic to work to improve the human rights system in Egypt, Dr. Bader Abdel -Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, on Saturday 10 May, the fourth ministerial meeting of the permanent Human Rights Committee. Participated in the meeting d. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, Counselor Mahmoud Fawzi, Minister of Parliamentary and Legal Affairs and Political Communication, and Counselor Adnan Fagri, Minister of Justice, and Dr. Diaa Rashwan, head of the State Information Service, Chancellor Amal Ammar, President of the National Council for Women, and Dr. Iman Karim, General Supervisor of the National Council for Persons with Disabilities, and Dr. Wael Mohamed Abdel Razek, Secretary General of the National Council for Motherhood and Childhood and representatives of the concerned national bodies of the committee. He also praised the completion of the new draft criminal procedure law that was permanently adopted by the House of Representatives on April 29, stressing that it is considered a legislative revolution in the criminal justice system and a new bright point on the process of strengthening and protecting human rights in Egypt. It was held in the month of March, which participated in all the sessions listed on its work program and delivered data to review the relevant national efforts. The meeting also dealt with the process of preparing for the fourth report to implement the national human rights strategy to document national efforts in the field of implementing the national strategy targets.
