A statement by the Ministry of Youth and Sports on the return of athletes present in Libya

Mohamed Al -Shazly, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Youth and Sports, stated that Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, made several phone calls to the Egyptian athletes present in Libya, where he made a call a little while ago with Captain Hossam Al -Badri, the coach of the Libyan Ahli Tripoli team, to check on him and the Egyptian technical staff and player Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahraba in Libya, and to ensure their safety and return procedures to Cairo Continuous coordination with the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and all the concerned authorities in light of the developments taking place there.
Al -Shazly explained that some of them are currently in Misurata and the rest in the Libyan city of Tripoli, where Captain Hossam Al -Badri, Hadi Khashaba, Ahmed Ayoub, and Hadi Al -Saeed are located in the city of Misurata, while Ahmed Esmat, Mahmoud Abdel -Moneim & quot; Kahraba & quot; The technical staff in Misurata is scheduled to arrive at Cairo International Airport at eleven o’clock this evening, Wednesday, while the rest will go to the city of Misurata in preparation for traveling to Cairo directly. For the ministry, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi stressed the Egyptian state’s keenness to follow up the conditions of its children abroad, especially in light of the security challenges and exceptional circumstances, stressing that the safety of Egyptians abroad comes at the forefront of priorities.
