The grievance committee proves Al -Ahly at the top of the league .. Zamalek is heading to “Cass”

The Egyptian Football Association Appeals Committee announced today, Thursday, its final decisions in the grievances submitted by Al -Ahly, Pyramids and Zamalek clubs, against the background of the events that accompanied the Al -Ahly and Zamalek match in the first round of the second stage of the Premier League.
Thus, Al -Ahly will keep the Egyptian League lead two rounds before the end of the competition, as it is two points ahead of its rival.
The committee approved the adoption of the result of the match with the victory of Zamalek 3-0, and refused Al-Ahly’s request to return the match, and the committee also supported the Club Association’s decision not to deduct 3 points from Al-Ahly’s balance at the end of the season.
The committee clarified that its decisions came based on the regulations organizing the competition, and that it studied all the grievances and papers submitted by the clubs concerned.
The committee recommended some amendments to the regulations to avoid the problems that appeared in this crisis, such as canceling some of the materials that contradict the regulations of the Egyptian and International Football Association, and to amend the withdrawal list from the matches.
The Egyptian Zamalek Club, headed by Hussein Labib, announced today, Thursday, its official rejection of the grievance committee’s decision on the Football Association regarding the grievance that the club made on the club’s association’s decisions regarding the last summit match with Al -Ahly.
The club confirmed through a statement on “X” that it will file an urgent complaint with the International Sports Court (Cass) to obtain its full rights and apply the list correctly to the match.
