The Moroccan Renaissance of the Moroccan crowned the African Confederation Cup

The Moroccan Nahda Berkane team won the African Football Cup (African Confederation), after 1/1 draw with its host Simba Tanzani, today, Sunday, in the second leg of the continental competition.
The first leg, which was held between the two teams in Morocco last week, ended with the victory of the Renaissance of Berkane 2 / zero, to win the Moroccan team 3/1 in the total of the home and away matches, and crowned the title for the third time in its history after the 2020 and 2022 editions.
Simba started scoring by Joshua Motali in the 17th minute, then the Tanzanian team played ten players after Youssef Kaguma was expelled in the 50th minute, for obtaining the second warning.
The Renaissance of Berkane took advantage of the numerical deficiency in the ranks of his opponent, after Somila Sidii scored the equalizer for the guest team in the third minute of the time calculated instead of lost for the second half.
This title is the second for the Renaissance of Berkane this season, after winning the Moroccan Professional League title earlier for the first time, to reserve a seat in the African Champions League next season.
Berkane, who participated in the fifth final in the championship, was able to equate the record as the most crowned club in Confederation, in conjunction with the Tunisian Sfaxien, compensating his fans for the disappointment that he suffered after losing the final of the last version of the competition against Zamalek Egyptian.
Thus, Morocco strengthened its chests to the list of the most culminated countries in the Confederation with 8 titles, after Raja Casablanca previously won the championship twice, while Al -Fateh Al -Rabati, Maghreb El Fassi and the Royal Army won the title of the championship once.
On the other hand, Tanzania clubs continued their failure to win the Confederation, as Lang Africans had previously reached the final round of the competition version in 2023, but he was unable to win the title by losing to the Algerian Federation.
