The first classifiers top the Dubai Chess Championship at the end of the second round

Dubai, May 29/ WAM/ The first rankers continued their lead to arrange the Dubai Open Chess Championship 2025 in its first category (A), with the conclusion of the second round competitions that are currently held at the Dubai Chess and Culture Club.
At the top of the list of the two works, the Indian Nihal Sirin, the first seed of the championship, and the Azerbaijani Muhammad Muradli, the holder of the last version, where the first defeated his compatriot Branith Foubala, while the second beat the Indian Muathia Al.
Within the same category, the Emirati international professor, the Arab champion, Imran Al -Hosani, tied with Vietnamese Jahuq Doui, to win the first half of the tournament.
As for the second category (B), the same tie was imposed on the confrontation of the Emirati international Ahmed Al -Rumaithi with the second seed, Greek international, Anastasius Pavlides, while the Libyan International Federation Professor Youssef El -Hassadi, the holder of the last edition, achieved his second victory by defeating the Emirati international Hamad Issam.
The second category after the second round tops 16 players, including 3 Emiratis: Mohamed Saeed Al -Layli, Ahmed Farid, and Sultan Jaber Al -Zarouni, in light of the decline in a number of stars due to draws, unlike the first category that is still going according to expectations, as the first classifiers continue on the first tables.
