“Difficult” negotiations with Ronaldo to keep him in the Saudi League

Saudi officials are in “difficult” negotiations with Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo to keep him in the local football league, according to what “Agence France Presse” learned from an informed source, after days of hinting the best player in the world five times about the end of his career with victory.

A source from the Public Investment Fund, which owns the four major clubs in Saudi Arabia (Al -Hilal, Al -Nasr, Al -Ittihad and Al -Ahly), said that “there are difficult negotiations ongoing to persuade Ronaldo to stay and play” in the Saudi League next season.

He added, “The first option (for Ronaldo) is to move to Al Hilal with an opportunity to participate in the Club World Cup or to the Asian champion.”
