The Arab Parliament condemns the decision of the occupation to build 22 new settlements in the West Bank

The Arab Parliament condemned the decision of the Israeli occupation authorities to approve the construction of 22 new settlements in the West Bank, and considered it a flagrant violation of international law and the Security Council Resolution 2334.

The parliament affirmed in a statement that the decision represents a dangerous escalation that undermines peace opportunities and closes the door of two states, calling on the international community, especially the Security Council, to immediately move to stop violations and hold the occupation accountable.

He also called on countries that have not yet recognized the State of Palestine to do so in support of the legitimate Palestinian right.
