Our goal is to delight Al -Ahly fans in the Club World Cup

Mohamed El -Shennawi, goalkeeper and captain of the first football team in Al -Ahly Club, confirmed that his primary goal is to achieve positive results in the Club World Cup, which will be held in the United States, with the participation of 32 teams for the first time.

Al -Ahly is located in the first group in the first round of the World Cup club, accompanied by the American Inter Miyami clubs, led by the Argentine magician Lionel Messi, Porto Portuguese and Brazilian Miras.

Al -Ahly begins its matches in the World Cup, against Inter Miami, in the opening match of the World Championship on June 14.

Al -Shennawi said that his team is participating in the Club World Cup as a “big club that has a stretch history in the continental and international championships,” stressing that the team has previous experiences in this tournament before its system changes, which gives it additional motives for strong preparation and full focus in order to appear in a manner befitting in the name of the Egyptian Al -Ahly Club and its position.

He added that the technical staff, led by Spaniard Jose Ribeiro “is working hard to equip the players in an optimal way, whether physically, technical or mental … and all the elements of the team have the enthusiasm and the desire to provide their best during the championship competitions.”

He explained that the team “gives all the teams participating in the tournament with full respect and works to study all competitors in an accurate manner,” stressing that the goal of the Egyptian Al -Ahly is clear, which is to achieve positive results and the happiness of its great fans that support him everywhere.

Al -Shennawi stressed that he is fully confident in his teammates, and in the team’s ability to “represent Al -Ahly in a way that suits its great history and its permanent aspirations in competition for all championships”, hoping that the team will help in providing a strong performance during the Club World Cup and achieve the results that satisfy its fans.
