What did Sultan Adel’s father say after his son was excluded from the Emirates national team and fined him 500 thousand dirhams?

Adel Mohamed, father of the national team player and Al -Ahly youth football, Sultan Adel, said that the punishment taken by the Disciplinary Committee in the Football Association against his son and teammate in the team and Sharjah Club Khaled Al -Dhanhani was due until it was a lesson to other players, as he put it.
The father of Sultan Adel told the sports line program on the “Sharjah Sports” channel: “My son shocked me, because he made a mistake to get out of the team’s headquarters and go to (Coffee Shop) after the team’s match” that was against Uzbekistan in the penultimate round of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and ended in a negative tie that led to the loss of the opportunity to qualify Al -Abyad directly and move to the attachment stage.
He explained: “If I were the place of the UAE Football Association, I would have taken the same punishment against Sultan, as it came out of the camp at a very difficult time, given that the team is in a national mission.” He pointed out that “perhaps the injury he was previously suffered, made him underestimate or underestimate … and this does not satisfy me and does not satisfy the fans of the Emirates football.”
He added: “The punishment against my son Sultan was due to be a lesson to other players, and I apologize to the Emirates Football Association headed by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and to the Emirati football fans for what I have done from my son Sultan.”
Adel Mohamed described the decision of Al -Ahly and Sharjah youth clubs to make deterrent decisions against both Sultan Adel and Khaled Al -Dhanhani during an official statement issued by the two clubs as the right decision.
The Disciplinary Committee of the Football Association had decided to stop both Sultan Adel and Khaled Al -Dhanhani, five games, each of them fined 500 thousand dirhams and excluded them from the national team list.
