Learn to the Asian teams that guaranteed qualification to the World Cup 2026

Six teams from the continent of Asia officially decided their seats in the World Cup scheduled to be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico in the summer of next year.

The FIFA gave the yellow continent to eight seats in the World Cup for the first time in the history of the World Cup, in addition to half other seats.

The Jordanian national team reserved its seat from among the World Cup candidates for the first time in its history, along with South Korea, Japan, Australia, Iran and Uzbekistan.

Iran topped the first group with 23 points after its great victory over North Korea 3-0, and the Uzbek team, which came in summer with 21 points, beat Qatar 3-0, too.

South Korea came to the head of the second group after it gathered 22 points by beating Kuwait 4-0, and the Jordanian team came behind with 16 points, despite its loss from Iraq 0-1.

In the third group, the Japan national team came in the lead with 23 points after sweeping Indonesia 6-0, and Australia and Summer were in its victory over Saudi Arabia 2-1, raising its score to 19 points.
