The Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs and Ports Security emphasized that all necessary measures are taken to ensure the continuity of operations in the airports of the UAE and coordination with all operational authorities to meet the repercussions of regional and political developments that led to the closure of the atmosphere of some countries, and in a manner that guarantees the safety and flow of the movement of travelers without affecting the quality of the services provided to them.

The authority explained that the activation of a business continuity plan in the approved emergency situations immediately after the outbreak of events, to ensure the flexibility of operation and reduce its potential repercussions on travel movement in light of the decisions of some countries to close the atmosphere in front of the air traffic, as the plan included operational and organizational procedures that were implemented in cooperation with strategic partners.

The authority indicated that field work teams were supported by state airports around the clock with qualified human cadres and high operational capabilities, to ensure the highest levels of readiness and immediate response to all developments, in addition to coordination with all competent operational authorities, to deal with the conditions of travelers suspended in airports, and to ensure the provision of the necessary support to them in terms of temporary residence, logistical services, and accurate information.

The authority said that the mechanism of entry to passengers to airports in the country was organized in line with the operational status, in addition to providing direct guidelines to travelers through support teams, regarding the reschedule of flights in immediate coordination with the airlines operating in the country.
