A message of thanks from the Iraqi team captain Ayman Hussein to the Jordanians

The Iraqi team captain Ayman Hussein sent a message of thanks to Jordan and the Jordanians after leaving the Kingdom, in which he expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and generous hospitality, during the week he spent in the hospitality of a number of the stars of the Jordanian national team and some fans.

Ayman Hussein said in a letter posted on his accounts on social media: “Thank you to Jordan and the people of Jordan for the generosity of hospitality and the warm reception, a week in Jordan as if I were between my family and my people, I really lived beautiful days between my brothers and friends, I ask God to protect you all.”

Ayman Hussein participated in the last match of the third round in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup between Iraq and Jordan, which ended with a moral victory for “Mesopotamia” 1-0 after the Jordanian team had included the historic qualification card for the World Cup by second in the group behind the South Korean team.

After the end of the Jordan and Iraq match, Ayman Hussein received a great welcome from the Jordanian fans, especially as it has a strong relationship with the “Al -Nishami” players and received special chants from the fans in the Amman International Stadium when he wore the Jordanian team’s shirt after the match, his hugs and his blessing for the Jordanian players to qualify led by Musa Al -Taamari and Ihsan Haddad, who published pictures on social media that brought them together with Ayman Hussein.
