The UAE abandons a child from Gaza to treat severe burns

The “Al -Faris 3” operation conducted a medical evacuation of a Gaza resident who was seriously injured in second and third degrees in multiple areas of his body, in order to receive advanced medical treatment and care in state hospitals, in the context of the UAE’s efforts to alleviate the suffering of Gaza residents due to the continuous war in the Strip.

The medical director of the Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, Dr. Abdel -Qader Al -Musabi, said that the child Hatem arrived on June 12 to the city as part of the “Al -Faris 3” operation, and a comprehensive treatment plan was developed for his condition, adding that there is remarkable and significant progress in his health, since the start of receiving treatment.

This urgent step comes within the humanitarian “Al -Faris 3”, which aims to provide medical and relief support to the most affected groups in the Gaza Strip, led by children and patients.

The evacuation process was carried out in coordination with the competent authorities, to ensure the safety of the child throughout the trip until he arrived in Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City.

This initiative reflects the UAE’s keenness and firm humanitarian approach to stand by the Palestinian people, alleviate its suffering, and provide care for those affected by wars and disasters, especially innocent children.
