Paris Saint -Germain and Botafogo qualify for the round of 16 in the World Cup clubs
California on June 23 / WAM / The Paris Saint -Germain and Brazilian Botavogo qualified for the 16th round of the FIFA World Cup, after they topped the second group ranking with the conclusion of the third round competitions, while the tournament bid farewell to Atletico Madrid and the US Saytel Soundarrs.
The two matches were held at one time, as Paris Saint-Germain managed to beat Seattle Sound 2-0, in the meeting that brought them together at the “Lumin Field” stadium.
In the second match, Atletico Madrid achieved a difficult victory over Botafogo with a clean goal.
By the end of the round, three teams are equal to the points balance (6 points for Paris Saint -Germain, Bootfogo, and Atletico Madrid), but the goal difference gave the lead to the French team, followed by Botafogo second, while Atletico Madrid came third and bid farewell to the championship alongside Seattle Sounds, which remained without points.
