The Dubai Media Council opens the door for the application for the Mohammed bin Rashid grant for Emirati media students

Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the second deputy governor of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, the Dubai Media Council announced yesterday, the opening of the application for obtaining a scholarship Mohammed bin Rashid for Emirati media students for the academic year 2025-2026, in line with the vision of the rational leadership of the future of the media sector in Dubai, and the UAE in general, and in the interest of providing this vital sector, similar to the rest of the main sectors In the country, with classes of young national cadres eligible to make and develop Emirati media with international standards.
The scholarship for young Emirati cadres, graduates and high school graduates, provides the opportunity to obtain a full scholarship in the “Mohammed bin Rashid Media College”, at the American University in Dubai, while the impact of the scholarship is not limited to the academic aspect, but rather extends to open the way for the distinguished from the beneficiaries of this scholarship to continue the journey of excellence in their field of specialization in obtaining job opportunities after the end of the university study period.

And graduates and graduates of high schools can apply for the “Mohammed bin Rashid Scholarship for Emirati Media Students” in its third edition by sending the registration request via the e -mail, Scholarship@dubaimediacil.ae, bearing in mind that the deadline for receiving requests is Tuesday, July 15, 2025, with the need to attach the required documents.
The Dubai Media Council launched many initiatives and programs that support young people, the most important of which is the Mohammed bin Rashid grant for Emirati media students, and “the pledge of young Emirati talents”, regarding facilitating the enrollment of young media professionals in the labor market, through the cooperation of the Council with colleges, universities and scientific institutes specialized in studying the media on the one hand, and the private sector and major media companies and institutions in the UAE and the Arab world on the other hand, as well as the council to revive the Arab Youth Award “Creativity”, with the aim of encouraging talents from media students to academic and vocational creativity, and give them a platform to celebrate the best in the Arab world.
