Reem Adel Al -Zarouni, the hero of the Arab Reading Challenge at the Emirates level, crowned at a ceremony held today, at the Dubai World Trade Center.

Zahra Hamad was also crowned the title of the distinguished supervisor, and the student Abdullah Al -Dhanhani as a hero to challenge the Arab reading about the category of people of determination, as well as the crowning of the Atka Bint Zaid School, the first episode – Sharjah “Eastern” with the title of the distinguished school at the Emirates level.

The competition witnessed a record participation, as the competitions fought 810 thousand and 838 students.

The “Arab Reading Challenge” initiative aims to read the largest reading demonstration of its kind in the Arabic language in the world, which started its first session in the 2015-2016 academic year under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, to enhance the importance of reading among students participating at the level of the Arab world and the world, and developing creative thinking skills.

The challenge also aims to produce a comprehensive reading and knowledge movement, consolidate the culture of reading in the Arabic language, a language capable of keeping pace with all forms of literature, science and knowledge, encouraging emerging generations to use them in their daily dealings, and providing them with the necessary knowledge to contribute to building a better future and refining their capabilities and personalities, and enabling them to see other cultures, in a way that contributes to the consolidation of the principles of tolerance and coexistence And acceptance of the other.
