Farewell to a influencer by Jota in Portugal .. and the absence of Salah and Ronaldo

In a sad atmosphere and an impressive human scene, a number of Liverpool players participated in the funeral ceremony of their Portuguese colleague Dugo Gota, who died suddenly with his brother André Silva after a terrible traffic accident in Spain last Thursday evening.
Hundreds of the people of the town of Gondumar, north of Portugal – where Gotta grew up alongside his family members, gathered in the main town of the town, to attend the funeral in which Liverpool stars led by Dutchman Virgil Van Dyck, goalkeeper Keimahin Keelier, the new coach Arna Salt, and a number of club officials participated.
The players appeared carrying two red flowers in the form of a shirt, one of whom wrote the number 20 that Gota wore with Liverpool, and on the other number 30 that his brother Andre wore in the Portuguese Benaville team.
The funeral ceremony was led by the bishop of Porto Manuel Linda, who gave an impressive sermon in which he directed condolences to the father of Gotta, his wife and two children, stressing that “solidarity in love is always stronger than death.”
Jota’s wife, Rot Cardoso, who married him just two weeks before the accident, also attended, along with her relatives, amid a clear shock on everyone’s faces.
Also among the attendees are a number of Portugal stars, including Bruno Fernandez and Bernardo Silva, who expressed their solidarity with the family of the deceased.
The absence of Salah and Ronaldo raises questions
What caught the attention of the followers on social media was the absence of the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah from the funeral, despite being a colleague of Gotta in Liverpool years ago.
Although Salah expressed his deep sorrow in a publication affecting the “X” platform, his absence from the funeral raised a wave of interaction on the Internet.
The Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, who had a good relationship with Jouta in the ranks of the national team, was absent, without making an official comment from the incident or the reason for his absence from the farewell ceremony.
Details of the accident
Jota, 28, and his brother Andre (26 years old), was on their way to the ferry to Britain, when their Lamborghini car deviated in a highway in Spain, causing fire to it, and attempts to save them failed.
The sudden death of the former Liverpool goalkeeper rocked the world’s football, and the condolences of the game stars and the leaders of the countries flowed, while Liverpool announced the state of mourning and canceled some of its activities
