The junior volleyball team participates in the Asian Championship

The UAE U -16 Volleyball Team will participate in the second edition of the Asian Championship, which is hosted by the Thai capital, Bangkok, from 12 to 19 July.

16 teams will participate in the championship, which was distributed to four groups, and the Emirates team plays in the third group, along with the teams of Japan, Uzbekistan and Mongolia.

The training of the coach Ibrahim Al -Mannai, who stressed that participation comes within the framework of the UAE Volleyball Federation, to enhance the presence of the Sunni teams in external forums.

The team’s mission left to Bangkok yesterday, and it includes 18 individuals, including 12 players, and the national team begins its tournament in the face of its Uzbek counterpart, next Saturday.

On the other hand, the Emirates Volleyball Federation announced that the extraordinary general assembly meeting was held at five in the evening tomorrow, in the meeting room at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee – the ground floor.
