What Gaza is currently witnessing “horrific matter”

The Secretary -General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, called for an immediate end to fire in Gaza, paving the way for a political solution based on the Charter of the United Nations, International Law and the decisions of the United Nations agencies.
Guterres described what Gaza is currently witnessing “the horrific thing”, because it reached a level of death and destruction that is unparalleled recently, warning that this matter undermines the simplest conditions of human dignity for the residents of Gaza.
Guterres expressed in a statement today at the United Nations headquarters in New York, his hope that the parties will be able to overcome the difficulties they face in order to achieve the ceasefire “and it is not enough, but it is necessary to lead to a solution.” He said that this solution will not be possible unless both Palestinians and Israelis can live in a country where they can exercise their rights. And from her side, the Executive Director of UNICEF Catherine Catherine Russell, the government Israeli to review the rules of engagement in Gaza in the wake of the killing of seven children who were waiting in a queue to obtain water at a distribution point.
She noted that this was a few days after a number of women and children were killed while standing in queues for food supplies.
