Yassin Merhi, the newcomer for the first football team of Al -Ahly Club, expressed his great happiness at achieving his dream of joining & LDQUO; Al -Qarn Club & rdquo; stressing that wearing the red shirt represents a major shift in his career, and a significant responsibility. In his statements to the club’s official website, he lives one of the happiest moments of his life after he became a player in the ranks"RTL"> The young player confirmed that continuous communication with Captain Mohamed Youssef, sports director of the club, played a decisive role in resolving the deal, even during the participation of Al -Ahly in the Club World Cup, considering that this confidence pushes him to make a double effort to achieve the desired successes.
Mari explained that wearing the Al -Ahly shirt is a dream for any player, because of the club’s history, and a huge mass base that is not satisfied except by winning, which increases the size of the challenge and responsibility inside and outside the stadium, indicating that it is ready to go into the next challenge with all ambitions and seriousness.
He added: Al -Ahly is the number 1 in Egypt, Africa and the Middle East, and joining it is a real opportunity to succeed in a professional system. Since the first day inside the Touch Stadium, I touched the support from everyone, whether from officials or fans, and this is not strange to a club the size of Al -Ahly & rdquo;
Mari also revealed his old emotional relationship with the club since childhood, where he attended a number of his matches, specifically the Al -Ahly and Al -Mahalla spinning match in the league, the most prominent of which is Imad Miteb’s historic goal in the Confederation final, which he described as one of the reasons for his great attachment to the Red Club.
With regard to competition within the team, Mari pointed out that it is very strong in the presence of a group of the best players on the continent, but he believes that this competition creates an ideal environment for development and providing the best, and that his goal is to write a history for himself with Al -Ahly as did the myths.
