Video.. Cabral’s goal snatches the award for the best in the 2026 World Cup

The wonderful goal scored by Sidney Lopez Cabral for the Cape Verdean national team against Argentina, in the round of 32, was crowned with the Hyundai Award for the best goal in the 2026 World Cup, after the fans voted during the past days.

Cabral’s goal surpassed the goals of Uzbekistan’s Eldor Shomurodov and Haitian Wilson Isidore, who ranked second and third, respectively.

Thus, Lopez Cabral joins the list of award winners, succeeding Maxi Rodriguez, Diego Forlan, James Rodriguez, Benjamin Pavard, and Richarlison.
