Zamalek fans know only the language of love

Zamalek midfielder, veteran Abdullah Al -Saeed, thanked the fans of the club, who was behind the extension of his two other seasons with the Egyptian Football Cup.
Al -Saeed, 40, said on Instagram: “I chose to conclude the march in the presence of the big entity … Zamalek Club.”
He added, “I chose to put the last point in a line written by an audience who knows only the language of love, and only reads the letters of loyalty. Thank you for this warm embrace, for the precious confidence, and the passion that gives football its true meaning. He promised from the heart to give all the remainder of my giving to the Zamalek shirt and its great fans. ”
Al -Saeed, the former Ismaili, Al -Ahly and Pyramids player, signed renewal contracts in a session with John Edward, the club’s sports director, after agreeing on all the details of the extension of the contract.
The club did not mention the financial details of the deal.
And Al -Saeed, who celebrated his 40th birthday last Sunday, is the second most player to score in different seasons in the Egyptian Premier League, and he has only one season to equal striker Hossam Hassan, the current Egypt coach, who scored in 20 seasons.
He participated for the first time in the league in 2004 with Al-Ismaili, before scoring four goals in 14 games during the 2005-2006 season, when he began stabilizing his feet with the first team.
The 2019-2020 season was the best scoring for him, as he scored 17 goals in 25 games with Pyramids, to crown the league scorer award.
The extension of Al -Saeed’s contract, which joined Zamalek in 2024, comes within the framework of the club’s plan to support the team for the next season in order to compete for all the championships.
Zamalek has already contracted with Mahdi Suleiman, the former Alexandrian team goalkeeper for two seasons, in a free deal, and the Angolan Chico Panza for four seasons coming from Estrala da Amadora, the Portuguese, Amr Nasser and Ahmed Sharif for five seasons from Varko.
Zamalek ended the league in third place, and came out early from the African Confederation Cup, which was holding its title, and bid farewell to the Egyptian Clubs League Cup.
But the African champion Pyramids defeated the penalty shootout in the Egypt Cup final on the fifth of last June.
