Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi chairs the Executive Council meeting

Sharjah, July 29/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council, chaired this morning, “Tuesday”, a meeting of the Executive Council held in the office of His Highness the Ruler.

During its meeting, the Council dealt with a number of issues concerned with following up the performance of government departments and bodies, and updating laws and legislations in a manner that guarantees the rights of workers in the Emirate of Sharjah.

The council extended its great thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, for its unlimited support and wise vision in strengthening the environment of government work, and his constant keenness to build a government apparatus that enjoys the highest standards The organizational, which guarantees their professional stability, contributes effectively to achieving comprehensive and sustainable development in the emirate.

The Council approved the executive regulations of Decree Law No. 2 of 2025 AD regarding the human resources of the Emirate of Sharjah, which aims to set clear and effective criteria in human resources management and development, developing the work environment and clarifying the duties and rights of employees in government agencies, in addition to enhancing efficiency, justice and job stability in line with government trends in the emirate.

The executive regulations regulate the job relationship between the employee and the government agency, through an integrated and comprehensive system of judgments and policies that cover various administrative aspects, as the executive regulations in the general provisions included 9 chapters of which are included in 130 articles, and include 33 schedules, and 30 model and demand.

The executive regulations also dealt with 10 systems in employment and appointment, organizing the work of 4 committees, 7 bonuses, incentives, benefits, 4 types of promotions and the settlement of the situation, in addition to organizing work hours and 14 types of leave, 14 clashes for job discipline and work behaviors, and 14 cases for the end of employee service, and final provisions.

The council’s accreditation of the executive regulations comes within the framework of the continuous efforts of the Sharjah government to modernize administrative and legislative systems, support national competencies, and stimulate the government work environment to innovate and productivity, and the Council urged the Sharjah government employees to redouble efforts and work with all diligence, diligence and sincerity in order to achieve the vision of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and the goals of comprehensive development in the emirate.
