“Dubai Roads” opens a new exit in the direction to Ras Al -Khor Street

In early August, the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai opens a new exit from the assembly street for vehicles coming from the Financial Center Street in the direction to Ras Al -Khor Street, near the intersection of Bou Kadra. This improvement comes within the rapid traffic solutions plan implemented by the authority with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of the road network and raising the flow of traffic in the Emirate of Dubai, specifically the Ras Al -Khor area, which is one of the vital areas adjacent to many development projects and commercial and industrial areas.

The authority seeks to continue to enhance the efficiency of infrastructure and roads in the emirate, in line with the urban renaissance and the urban development witnessed in Dubai, as the new director contributes to enhancing the flow of traffic at the intersection Dubai-Eye, thus reducing the flight time from 13 minutes to 6 minutes, with a decrease of 54%at peak times.

This director is an extension of a series of traffic improvements recently carried out by the authority in the Ras Al -Khor area, the most prominent of which is the expansion of the director No. 25 with a length of 500 meters from Ras Al -Khor Street to Al -Khail Street in the direction leading to Al -Midan Street, where it was transferred from one path to two tracks, which doubled its capacity by 100% to 3000 vehicles per hour, where the improvement contributed to reducing the intensity of the expected vehicles and reducing the arrival time during Peak times from 7 minutes to 4 minutes, which reflected positively on the flow of traffic in this vital exit.
