Sharjah Media Academy concludes a program "Future media "
Sharjah, on the first of August/ WAM/ The Sharjah Media Academy, affiliated with the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority, organized yesterday the closing ceremony of the ninth session of the summer program “Future Media”.
The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Salem Ali Al -Ghaithi, Director of the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority, and a number of channel managers and radio managers, and students affiliated with the program and their parents.
The ninth edition of the program was launched during the period from 7 to 31 July 2025, in which 152 students, between the ages of 10 and 18, participated, they received intense training in a number of media sites affiliated with the authority, namely: the headquarters of the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority, the Central Channel from Al Dhaid and the Eastern Channel from Kalba.
The ninth edition of the program included six specialized training courses that included: television presentation, radio presentation and audio performance, as well as courses in modern media fields such as digital media, artificial intelligence and content industry for social media platforms, photography and montage using smart devices, under the supervision of a group of media trainers and experts working in the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority
His Excellency Salem Ali Al -Ghaithi emphasized that the “Future Media” program reflects the commitment of the authority to rehabilitate a promising generation of young media outlets, and prepare them to discover their media passion from an early age in a stimulating and professional educational environment, pointing out that the program presented by competent and experienced trainers focused on developing the practical and theoretical skills of the participants, in line with the accelerated developments in the media sector.
For her part, Shaima Abdullah, Director of the Sharjah Media Academy, affirmed that the “Future Media” program is one of the most prominent programs of the academy directed to the emerging category, through which it seeks to consolidate the concepts of responsible media and enhance the technical and creative skills of the participants, through integrated training programs that combine the practical and theoretical aspects.
