The bicycle team concludes its camp in Italy

The Emirates Cycling Federation has finished the joint training camp for the national teams, which gathered 14 players of men under 23 years old, young people and youth, and this camp comes within the framework of the extensive preparation program for the upcoming entitlements that will witness a strong participation of the Emirati teams in a number of important international championships, including the World Youth Championship in the Netherlands, the Asian Cup in Thailand, Tawaf Salalah, Dafar Classic, in addition to The world’s championships in Rwanda and Chile, and the Asian Junior Games hosted by Bahrain.
The Director of the National Bicycle Teams, Mohammed bin Shafi’i, stressed that the Bicycle Union, headed by Mansour Bouasiba, was keen during the training camp to provide the best training and environmental conditions for players from different groups, with the aim of refining their technical and physical skills, and ensuring the achievement of the best results that raise the name of the UAE high in international sports forums.
On the other hand, the cyclist, Youssef Amiri, left for the Netherlands, to participate in the World Championship that will be held there, from 20 to 25 August, accompanied by the director of the national team, Mohamed bin Shafi’i, and Emiri will continue the training camp, from today to the date of the championship, to adapt to the atmosphere of competitions.
Muhammad bin Shafi’i pointed to the importance of continuous cooperation with the concerned authorities, thanking the Ministry of Sports and the National Olympic Committee for their unlimited and continuous support for the national teams, which is a basic pillar of the success of the sports program in the country.
It is noteworthy that this camp comes within an integrated strategy aimed at developing a distinguished preparation plan for all age groups, keeping pace with the aspirations of the state in achieving sports excellence and enhancing the presence of the UAE in international bike races.
