Chancellor Amal Ammar receives the head of the Egyptian Intellectual Property Agency to discuss ways of cooperation

Chancellor Amal Ammar, President of the National Council for Women, received Dr. Hisham Azmi, Head of the Egyptian Intellectual Property Agency at the Council’s headquarters, in the presence of Counselor Mohamed Afia and Counselor Mohamed Suwaidan, & nbsp; Dr. Mona Yahya, Vice President of the Egyptian Intellectual Property Agency, and Behej Mustafa, head of the Central Administration for Information Systems and Digital Transformation. Abdel Karim, the technical coordinator of the former intellectual property project and the training official, and the technical support for economic empowerment projects, Walaa Salim, the legal support official for economic empowerment projects, and representatives of the Egyptian intellectual property, to discuss ways of joint cooperation during the coming period. Pointing to cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in registering the first heritage craft bearing a collective brand in Egypt (Tele Shendail), and its role in recording the Egyptian heritage crafts in which women excelled in various governorates, wishing to document all the crafts that Egyptian women do to enable all women, and to cooperate with the Egyptian intellectual property agency during the next stage. Azmi thanks to Chancellor Amal Ammar, and referred to the vital role that women play in Egyptian society, appreciating the leading efforts of the National Council for Women in supporting Egyptian women, and in particular encouraging creative women and business entrepreneurs. The establishment of the agency contributed to the integration and unification of all parties concerned with intellectual property rights, in one institutional entity, in a way that enhances the efficiency of work and achieves integration between national efforts.
