A traffic expert calls for the establishment of a national road safety body
Major General Dr. Ayman Al -Dabaa, Consultant Planning and Traffic Engineering and Traffic Safety Expert, called for the establishment of an independent national body that fully takes over the traffic safety file, from planning, awareness and implementation, stressing that this entity is the real way to reduce blood bleeding on the roads. Recently, it is an unprecedented indicator, despite the unprecedented achievements in the field of road infrastructure and bridges, as the state has implemented 6200 km from the national road project, and 7,200 km of new roads, as well as raising the efficiency of 10 thousand kilometers from local roads, bringing the total network to about 144 thousand kilometers. The Ministry of the Interior is making great efforts to control traffic through radars, cameras and field campaigns, but the human element remains the first cause of accidents, whether it is a driver or a passenger or even from the traffic elements themselves. From schools and universities through curricula and training programs, with various awareness messages that suit different age and cultural groups.
