"UAE rooms" She reviews investment opportunities with Mali

Sharjah, August 17 / WAM / The UAE rooms reviewed the investment opportunities available in the Republic of Mali, during the Emirati -Malian business meeting hosted by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the UAE Chambers and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the participation of a commercial delegation from the Republic of Mali visiting the country from 13 to 18 August.

His Excellency Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Vice President of the UAE Chambers Union and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, welcomed the guest delegation, praising the growing bilateral relations that link the UAE and the Republic of Mali, and affirming the keenness of the UAE rooms to enhance economic partnerships with the financial side, in order to enhance the opportunities for trade and investment exchange between the two countries.

He pointed out that the meeting is an important opportunity to review the promising investment opportunities in the Republic of Mali, which are of interest to Emirati investors, especially in light of the UAE’s tendency towards enhancing foreign investments within the strategies of economic diversification, expressing the readiness of the UAE rooms in general and the Sharjah Chamber in particular to promote these opportunities among the UAE business community, in order to encourage investment in African markets.

Al -Owais affirmed the interest of the business community in the country in identifying the investment climate in Mali, noting that the UAE rooms aspire to establish a joint business council between the two sides, which constitutes a platform for communication between representatives of the private sector, especially in the sectors of agriculture, food security, infrastructure, energy, and mining.

During the meeting, the head of the Mali Chamber of Commerce and Industry, His Excellency Madi Simbara, reviewed, during the meeting, the most prominent investment opportunities presented in his country, which include projects in the fields of renewable energy, artesian wells, infrastructure, the establishment of commercial and sports complexes, industrial projects, urban development, land transport, and the construction of an international hospital.

Simbara called on the Emirati business community to visit Mali and see closely on the available investment projects, stressing that these initiatives bear a great economic feasibility for both parties, expressing the aspiration of the Mali Chamber of Commerce to enhance cooperation with the UAE rooms in various fields, in a way that supports trade and economic relations between the two countries.
