المملكة: A renewed urban identity.. Completion of the project to develop the eastern entrance to the village of Olaya
The Municipality of the Olaya Village Governorate has completed the work of the project to develop the eastern entrance to the governorate, in a qualitative step that comes within its continuing efforts to improve Infrastructure, improving the urban landscape, and enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors.
The mayor of the Olaya Village Governorate, Dr. Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, explained that the project falls within a strategic plan to develop the entrances to the governorate and highlight its cultural and urban identity, in a way that reflects the level of rapid development that the region is witnessing, and contributes to improving the flow of traffic and raising Safety standards on the roads.
The most important development works
The project included an integrated package of Development works included the implementation of paving works with an area exceeding 16,720 square metres, asphalting roads with an area of 56,655 square metres, in addition to implementing traffic painting with a length of 4,200 metres, in a way that enhances the clarity of paths and raises the level of safety for road users. The project also included the creation of various green spaces that contribute to improving the visual scene and giving a distinctive aesthetic character to the entrance.
In addition to improving lighting, 84 high-rise lighting poles were installed. 12 metres, in addition to 95 decorative lighting poles with a height of 6 metres, which enhances the efficiency of public lighting and adds an aesthetic dimension that reflects the identity of the place.
Al-Ghamdi stressed that the municipality is continuing to implement its development projects according to the highest quality standards, noting that these projects contribute to strengthening the governorate’s position as an integrated urban destination, meeting the aspirations of the population and keeping pace with comprehensive development goals.
