Al -Wahda deserved Ajman’s points .. Thanks to the public

Al -Wahda coach, Portuguese Jose Morais, considered that his team’s victory over Ajman with two goals without reply, today, Sunday, in the first round of the ADNOC Professional League, represents a strong moral boost at the beginning of the “Excellencies” journey this season.

Morais congratulated his players on the distinguished performance, stressing that the unit deserved victory in the beginning of the start and scored the first three points, despite the difficult climatic conditions and high temperatures.

“The meeting started with a clear caution on both sides, as each team was seeking to benefit from the acquisition and not making mistakes. Both teams focused on the defensive side, which made the task of penetrating the Ajman defense, but scoring the goal of progress in the second half opened the match more.”

He added: “Despite our control of the course of the game, the opportunities were somewhat equal … The second goal gave us greater comfort, and we helped manage the match better to the end.”

Morais concluded by saying: “I thank the fans of Al -Wahda for the great attendance despite the temperature of the weather, and we give them this victory, as I thank the fans of Ajman, who showed a wonderful spirit in supporting her team.”
