The Football Association affirmed its complete rejection of any doubts about the integrity and efficiency of the employees of the Emirati arbitration sector, which achieves great successes locally, continental and international, expressing at the same time its strong dissatisfaction with the inaccurate criticism of the arbitration published by the official platforms of the Al Ain Club, calling on those in charge of the club to adhere to sports values, principles of respect and lack of detracting the work of others.
The Football Association announced in a press statement today, Sunday, the start of taking the necessary legal measures towards Al Ain Club, and will be a firm legal action against all those who reduce its work or the performance of its affiliates inappropriately.
Al -Ittihad pointed out that the assessment of football referees comes from the Football Association and its board of directors in accordance with the powers granted according to the statute, and the Al Ain Club would not interfere in these powers, pointing out that there are clear mechanisms regarding the objection to the arbitration decisions, calling on the Al Ain Club to pay attention to its internal affairs.
He added: “It is worth noting that two consecutive seasons witnessed the large number of administrative errors committed by the club and its affiliates during the administrative transactions with the federation, which the Football Association dealt with with all professionalism, and through its official channels, and the federation hopes that the club will develop the performance of its affiliates more and not to enter and preoccupy matters that do not mean it.”
The Union pointed out that “the issue of developing the arbitration corps is the responsibility of the Football Association through committees and work teams that include high competencies, and it works according to clear principles and principles.”
The Football Association explained that «Al Ain Club and other clubs can request the use of foreign referees for their matches in accordance with the mechanism approved for that, in the event that they are not satisfied with the performance of the citizen referees.
Al-Ain Club had issued an official statement through its platforms on the communication sites, in which it objected to the arbitration decisions, despite the team’s victory over Al-Battah 2-1, the day before yesterday, in the opening round of the start of the 17th edition in the Professional League.
Al -Ain Club said in its statement: “We confirm that despite the due victory achieved by the first football team in its match against Al -Battah Club, the meeting witnessed a number of controversial arbitration cases that almost directly affecting the result of the match and depriving the team of its points.”
