"Victory " In the first group in the Arab Basketball Clubs competitions
Dubai, September 7/ WAM/ The draw for the 37th edition of the Arab Men’s Basketball Clubs Championship, Al -Nasr Club, the representative of the UAE basketball and the host of the championship, in the first group, along with the Syrian Homs Fida teams, the Yemeni people of Hadramout, and the Kuwaiti Qadisiyah.
Dubai will host the championship competitions, from September 25 to October 6, with the participation of 16 teams, which were distributed to 4 groups in the lottery that took place today through visual communication technology, under the supervision of the Arab Basketball Federation.
The second group included the Lebanese clubs of Antoine, Al -Ahly Tripoli, Libyan, Bahraini Manama, and Kuwait Kuwait, while the third group included the Qatari Arab team “the title holder”, Kazma Al -Kuwaiti, Al -Sibman Omani, and the Yemeni port, and in the fourth group the Lebanese wisdom teams, the Syrian unity, the Omani Al -Bashair, and the Qatari Rayan.
The championship matches will be held at the Rashid Bin Hamdan Hall in Al -Nasr Club, where the first and second each group qualify for the round of 16, which starts on the first of October, with the competitions to conclude with the final match on October 6.
The first round witnesses the holding of 4 games per day, starting to meet Kuwait Kuwait with the Libyan Al -Ahly Tripoli in the second group, followed by the official opening in the victory match with the Yemeni people of Hadramout in the first group, then the Kuwaiti Qadisiyah match with Homs Fida Al -Suri within the same group, and the first round concludes with the Bahraini Manama meeting with the Lebanese Antoine.
4 clubs participated in the title of the title, the Lebanese Al -Hikma, the champion of 1998 and 1999, Kuwait, Kuwait, champion of the 2022 edition, and the Qatari Rayyan crowned in 2014, along with the Qatari Arab holder of the last version of the last version 2024 in Alexandria.
