74 candidates in 23 category for the Sharjah Government Communication Award 2025

Sharjah, September 7 / WAM / The Media Office of the Sharjah Government announced the short list of the 12th session of the “Sharjah Government Communication Award 2025”, including 74 candidates who were chosen after the meeting of the Supreme Arbitration Committee within 23 category distributed over five major sectors that include government agencies and international organizations, the private sector, individual prizes, partners’ prizes and the awards of the jury along with creative competition prizes In smart communication.
The award received more than 2,600 files that qualified after the first screening of more than 600 posts from 37 countries, while 170 files reached the evaluation stage with the jury of the award consisting of a group of experts and specialists in the media and management.
The final names of the winners will be announced on September 11th, coinciding with the closing day of the 14th session of the “International Government Communication Forum”, which will be held on September 10 and 11 at the Expo Sharjah Center under the slogan “Communication for the Quality of Life”.
And the short lists according to the categories include: government agencies and international organizations are the best integrated communication system for the General Command of Sharjah Police (Emirates), the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (Saudi Arabia) and the General Administration of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (Emirates).
And in the category of the best innovation in government communication, the Ministry of Information (Saudi Arabia), the Electricity, Water Authority, and Sharjah gas (Emirates) and the Ministry of Interior (Saudi Arabia). And in the category of the best communication targeting young people (for government agencies and international organizations only) – the best campaigns for the positive impact on the awareness and practices of youth. The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (Saudi Arabia), the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police (Emirates) and Youthnet Global (Bangladesh) came. As for the best communication programs to support emerging projects and youth, the International Institute for Equatorial Agriculture (Nigeria), the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Azerbaijan) and Sharjah Media City (Shams “(Emirates) (Emirates). And the best strategy to communicate crises – the Housing Department – Sharjah (Emirates), the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing (Saudi Arabia) and the General Command of Civil Defense – Dubai (Emirates).

From the government sector and international organizations: The Abu Dhabi Statistics Center (Emirates) and the Ministry of Information (Saudi Arabia) nominated the Ministry of Health and Community Protection (Emirates). And at the private sector level: Touch for the manufacture of content and creative marketing (Saudi Arabia)

And in the category of the best communication practice in supporting social responsibility – the government sector and international organizations: the General Entertainment Authority (Saudi Arabia), the municipality of Al Ain City (Emirates) and Dubai Police (Emirates)
And at the private sector level: Touch for the manufacture of content and creative marketing (Saudi Arabia) and Neurabloom specialized in community activities and human health (UK).
And in the category of the best communication messages through the elements of soft power – Abu Dhabi Development Fund (Emirates), the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (Emirates) and the “Trends” Center for Research and Consulting (Emirates). And the category of creativity in communication for children and adolescents – the government sector and international organizations: the Heritage Authority (Saudi Arabia) and the Sharjah Children’s Foundation (Emirates).
And at the level of the private sector: “Digitel Media” (Jordan), the New Media Academy (Emirates) and “Speston” (Emirates).
As for the category of the best campaigns to enhance cultural identity and the Arabic language, it is sprinkled with the short list of the “Al -Arabiya Holding” group (Saudi Arabia) and “King Salman International Complex for Arabic” (Saudi Arabia).
Third: Individual Awards- The Best Youth Initiative in Communication: Ahmed Qassem (Egypt), Nasira Al-Orabi- United Nations Office (Emirates) and the “Inspiring” Authority (Bahrain). In the category of the best official speaker: Omar Al -Qahtani – the Ministry of Information (Saudi Arabia), Brigadier Dr. Jassim Mohammed bin Haddi Al -Suwaidi – Sharjah Police (Emirates) and Sultan Al -Rajhi – Saudi Water Authority (Saudi Arabia).
And in the category of makers of change with distinguished digital content – under 18 years of age: Muznah Jalal, Hayam Al -Hassani, Hamdan, Sultan Al -Shehhi (Emirates) and over 18 years: Abdullah Al -Alawi (Saudi Arabia), Mustafa Seonga (Morocco) and Muhannad Diab (Egypt).
