The head of the state and the Indonesian president discuss the relations of the two countries and the development of their comprehensive economic partnership

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, received today the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Praboo Sobanto, who is on a work visit to the state.

His Highness discussed with the Indonesian President various aspects of cooperation and joint work and the opportunities for their development, especially in the economic, developmental and investment fields, renewable energy and other aspects in a way that enhances the mutual interests of the two countries and serves their development priorities and returns with good and growth over their people..and in the framework of the comprehensive economic partnership that brings the two countries together.

The two sides also touched on a number of regional and international issues and issues of common concern, and exchanged views on them, foremost of which is the Israeli attack on Qatari lands … regenerated the two countries’ condemnation of the attack and their solidarity with the sisterly State of Qatar, stressing that the attack undermines the security of the region, its stability and peace opportunities in it.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidency for Special Affairs, and a number of ministers and senior state officials.

The Indonesian President had arrived in the state earlier today for a working visit, where His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, was receiving him at the presidential airport in Abu Dhabi.
