Al -Nasr beat Al -Qadisiyah and leads his group in the Arab Basketball Championship
Dubai, September 27/WAM/Al-Nasr team occupied the first group summit in the 37th edition of the Arab Basketball Clubs Championship, currently held at the Rashid Bin Hamdan Hall, after achieving the second consecutive victory by defeating the Kuwaiti Qadisiyah 91-88, in a strong match, in the third day of the tournament, in which 16 Arab clubs participate.
In another match in the same group, the Syrian Homs team won its first victory by beating the Yemeni people of Hadramout 100-81.
In the second group, the Libyan Al-Ahly Tripoli achieved its second consecutive victory at the expense of the Bahraini Manama 103-78 to lead his group with 4 points, and within the same group, the matches of today were concluded, with Kuwait’s Kuwaiti victory over the Lebanese Anthony over 88-83.
The championship competitions will continue tomorrow, as the Yemeni port meets with Kazma Al -Kuwaiti and the Omani Sib with Al -Arabi Al -Qatari in the third group, while the last two matches combine the Omani good and the Lebanese wisdom, and the Qatari Rayan with the Syrian unit within the fourth group competitions.
