Mohamed Othman won a bronze 100 meters in the World Paralympic Athletics Championship

The national athletics team for the owners of determination continued its brilliance in the world championship currently held in the Indian capital, New Delhi, after the hero Mohamed Othman won the bronze medal in the 100 -meter race for the classification category “T34”, recording a time of 15.04 seconds, to add a new achievement for the sport of Emirati determination.

The 100m T34 race witnessed a great excitement until the finish line, where the Thai Chayut Ratana settled first place with a time of only 15.00 seconds, while the Australian Reed McCarakin came second with 15.04 seconds, and a difference of a second, our player Mohamed Othman came third in the same time, to confirm the severity of the competition in the race, while his teammate Ahmed Nadad came in seventh place with a time of 15.59 seconds.

This achievement demonstrates the high readiness of the national team players, and the competitive spirit they enjoy, which reflects the fruits of the great support that the sport of people of determination has from the wise leadership and the National Paralympic Committee, and enhances the UAE’s position on the global sports map.
