One million people are applying to volunteer in the World Cup 2026

The Volunteering program for the 2026 Football Championships witnessed the presentation of a record number of requests that exceeded one million, three days before the deadline ended.

“This amazing number reflects the size of local, national and international interest in the global football wedding that will be held in Canada, Mexico and the United States of America between June 11 and July 19, and witnesses the assignment of tasks to about 65 thousand volunteers and volunteers,” FIFA said in a statement on its official website.
