Mbappe recognizes that his move to Real Madrid helped him regain balance

Frenchman Kylian Mbappé, Real Madrid striker, admitted that his move to the Spanish team helped him regain his balance, and that his wonderful start to the current season proved that.
The French striker scored 16 goals in 14 matches for his club and country, and failed to score in a single match in his second season with the Spanish capital team.
It took him until mid-January to reach the same number of goals after his move from Paris Saint-Germain last year, but Mbappe (26 years old) said that life away from his country was easier for him.
“I have adapted well to Madrid, and I feel more comfortable there,” Mbappe said in a press conference before the match against Azerbaijan in the World Cup qualifiers.
He added: “This is not an attack on France, but the way of life is different and less stressful than Paris. I was able to regain my balance.”
Mbappe trained alone on Wednesday due to an ankle problem, but declared himself ready, knowing that last month he surpassed his compatriot Thierry Henry as France’s second-best scorer by scoring a goal from a penalty kick in the match against Iceland in the World Cup qualifiers, scoring his fifty-second goal with the French national team.
Mbappe is currently seeking to break Olivier Giroud’s record of 57 goals, but he is more focused on strengthening France’s unbeaten record at the top of Group D and ensuring qualification for the World Cup.
The player added: “I think I will break the record. When?” “I don’t know, I don’t think about it.”
He continued: “Maybe tomorrow, maybe later. The most important thing is to qualify for the World Cup, and then that will come automatically.”
