“Tempted” raises the “Godolphin” logo in Australia

The international Godolphin team announced that the filly “Tempted” will carry the team’s banner in the Australian “The Everest” race, which extends for 1,200 metres, and will be held on October 18 at the ancient “Royal Randwick” track.
The three-year-old filly, trained by Ciaron Maher, quickly established her position among the most prominent three-year-old speed fillies in Australia, after achieving four victories from eight starts, and collecting prize money exceeding 1.68 million Australian dollars.
At the age of two years, “Tempted” succeeded in achieving two victories in the second category (Group 2) races at the same “Royal Randwick” track, by winning the “Wrestling Stakes” last March, and followed that up last April by winning the title of the “The Star Percy Sykes Stakes”.
Last September, the filly began her season at the age of three years, adding a new title in the second category races, by being crowned with the “You Run to the Rose” title, which took place at the Australian “Rosehill” track, before coming in the same month and on the same track in third place in the “Golden Rose” race for first category horses (Group 1).
Godolphin’s General Manager in Australia, Andy McKeeve, commented on Tempted’s participation in The Everest race, saying in press statements: “The filly (Tempted) is high-level and in peak condition, and three-year-old horses have a strong record in races like (The Everest). She embodies everything that expresses (Godolphin), as she is the product of one of our stallions, and was born, raised and developed on the team’s farms,” noting that her participation in “The Everest” represents a proud moment for everyone.
It is noteworthy that jockey Craig Williams will lead the filly “Tempted”.
