Imad Ramadan: We thank the Minister of Youth and Sports for his continued support "For the Paralympic plane"

The national Paralympic volleyball team has arrived in Indianapolis, United States of America, where it is participating in the World Cup, which is being hosted by the American city from October 9 to 18. 

 

For his part, Imad Ramadan, President of the Egyptian Paralympic Volleyball Federation, confirmed that he contacted the delegation by phone and was assured of everyone’s safety after the long flight. He reassured the morale of the players, and that they are fully prepared to compete for the title.

Imad Ramadan thanked Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, for his constant support for the team, and for his continuous follow-up of the team’s preparations for the World Cup, and for reassuring him and the officials of the Ministry of Youth and Sports about the team’s safe arrival.

Imad Ramadan continued that the team will undergo its first training in America. At five in the afternoon today, Cairo time, and that the team will play its first match in the World Cup against the Indian team the day after tomorrow, Sunday, at six in the evening, Cairo time.

Our team will play in the first group of the World Cup, which includes the teams of India, Japan, Australia, Croatia, Brazil, and the Netherlands.

The second group includes the teams of America, Kazakhstan, France, and Italy. , Thailand, Canada, and Poland.

The delegation of our national team in America is headed by Dr. Sameh Salem, Vice President of the Egyptian Paralympic Volleyball Federation.

The delegation includes 12 players: Hisham Salah, team leader, Ashraf Zaghloul, 

Abdel Nabi Hassan, Mohamed El-Hanawy, Hossam Masoud, El-Sayed Moussa, Ahmed Khamis, Ahmed Fadl, Zakaria Al-Sayed , 

Mutawa Abu Al-Khair, Hamada Hassan, and Ahmed Zakry.

The technical staff is led by Dr. Wajih Hamdi as technical director, assisted by Mohamed Bashir, general coach, Mohamed Saad, coach, and Amin Abdel Moneim, as administrative director.
