Nada Magdy, world fin-swimming champion: I will not be satisfied with what I have achieved

Nada Magdy, champion of the Egyptian national finswimming team, confirmed her great happiness at winning two gold medals in the 1 km mono and 5 km mono for women at the 2025 World Finswimming Championships held in Porto Marina in El Alamein.
Nada said that playing and shining on Egyptian soil has a special and unforgettable character. She said: Winning the first medal was a wonderful feeling, but achieving the second today made me feel more proud, especially since this championship is being held on our land and among our fans, and that gives us great positive energy and motivation to give our best.
The world champion added that the 5 km race was much more difficult than the first because it requires control of the rhythm and focus throughout, especially in light of the strong competition from the rest of the countries. But I adhered to the plan set by the technical team and was able to finish the race in the lead.
Nada stressed that winning the championship on home soil increases her responsibility to continue with the same strength, explaining: We know the nature of the water and currents well and we trained for long periods in this atmosphere, so we were prepared psychologically and physically, and the technical staff helped us a lot to reach the best possible level before Championship.
She concluded her speech by emphasizing her ambition to achieve more achievements during her international career, saying: I still have other races ahead of me and I strive with all focus to continue winning medals and honoring the name of Egypt in every tournament I participate in.
