"Mohammed bin Rashid Award for the Arabic Language" The winners of its ninth session will be honored on October 22
Dubai, October 10, 2017 – The Mohammed bin Rashid Award for the Arabic Language, emanating from the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation and organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Library, will organize a ceremony honoring the winners of its ninth session on October 22nd, in conjunction with the Eleventh International Conference on the Arabic Language, which Dubai will host from the 22nd to the 24th of the same month.
His Excellency Bilal Al-Badour, Secretary-General of the Award, confirmed that the Award embodies a strategic vision aimed at repositioning the Arabic language as a pillar of cultural identity and a tool for building an Arab knowledge economy, explaining that honoring innovators reflects Dubai’s continued commitment to supporting the Arabic language and empowering it in modern fields.
For its part, the award administration revealed that the ninth session witnessed wide participation from institutions and individuals from various parts of the world who presented qualitative initiatives to develop the teaching of the Arabic language and enhance its use in contemporary fields, calling on those interested to attend the conference activities and the honoring ceremony that brings together participants from 80 countries.
