Doha Hani won membership in the Athletes Committee of the International Badminton Federation

Doha Hani, a player for the first national badminton team, won membership in the Athletes Committee of the International Federation of Badminton in the 2026-2029 electoral cycle, as the first Egyptian and African player to join a committee affiliated with the International Federation and represent the voices of players around the world.

 

The committee includes: Membership:

 

"Ahn Se-young from South Korea – Doha Hani from Egypt – Jia Yi Fan from China – Deborah Gill from Netherlands – Pusarla in Sindhu from India.

 

This achievement is a strong addition to Doha Hani’s career, which continues to raise the name of Egypt and Africa in international forums, and confirms the status of Egyptian badminton on the world stage.

 

Doha Hani is currently preparing to participate in the Egypt International Championship in its scheduled tenth edition. It will be held during the period from 14 to 18 October.
