The Egyptian national team concludes its training in preparation for facing Guinea Bissau today at the end of the World Cup qualifiers

The Egyptian national football team, led by technical director Hossam Hassan, concluded its training yesterday evening, Saturday, at Cairo Stadium in preparation for facing Guinea-Bissau, today, Sunday, at Cairo Stadium in the matches of the tenth and final round of the African qualifiers for the World Cup, which the Pharaohs won by officially qualifying for the 2026 World Cup and topping the group.

21 players participated in the Egyptian national team training, and they are: Mohamed El-Shenawy, Mustafa Schubert, Mohamed Sobhi, Abdel Aziz El-Balouti, Mohamed Hani, Mohamed Hamdy, Ahmed Eid, Rami Rabia, Khaled Sobhi, Yasser Ibrahim, Amr El-Gazzar, Hossam Abdel-Maguid, Ahmed Nabil “Koka”, Muhannad Lashin, Mahmoud Saber, Ahmed Sayed Zizo, Mahmoud Trezeguet, Ibrahim Adel, Mustafa Fathi, Mustafa Mohamed, and Osama Faisal.

 

The duo Hamdi Fathi and Marwan Attia were suspended from the roster for the Guinea match after receiving a second warning in the last Djibouti match. The technical staff also decided to rest Mohamed Salah and not participate in the Guinea match, and thus it was decided to rest the trio from training.
